Manchester mobile bar, The Tipsy Grey has covered some great events since our beginnings. As we sit and look back over The Tipsy Grey North’s journey so far, it’s with an overwhelming feeling of joy, pride and laughter we look forward to the year ahead.

For a company so early in its establishment we have had some of the most amazing experiences, but these 3 immediately spring to mind and still wow us.

As Seen on TV – The Real Housewives of Cheshire

In July 2019 we were invited to take Clementine to the recording of an episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The recording took place at Tarporley Polo Club in Cheshire.  The ladies didn’t disappoint and the day was filled with gin, fizz and drama!

We got to enjoy our first ever polo match and serve copious amounts of fizz to the housewives. There is so much involved in recording a TV show and it really opened our eyes as to the whole process of recording it. We feel immensely privileged to have this opportunity and cannot lie, it was an amazing feeling seeing our beautiful bar on TV!

Festivals, fairs and fetes bar

The next moment was Back to the 80s 2019 tribute festival. We had no idea how amazing this festival would be! From the location to the organisers to our fellow vendors and of course the line-up, this was an epic festival. It was right on our doorstep with no restrictions to what we could offer our guests. We took the opportunity to showcase local gins and beers and they went down a storm. The Three Graces Rose (Liverpool Gin) was a firm favourite along with the 7brothers IPA. We are so excited it be attending the festival again this year. Tickets are currently on sale at https://back2the80s.com/ for 16th & 17th July 2021.

Finally, the mammoth Leeds festival 2019, 4 days of the most amazing music, weather and memories. With a festival like this, you are restricted to what drinks you can serve due to festival sponsorship. We wanted to make sure we put our Tipsy Grey stamp on the menu so we sourced some of the most delicious mixers from Franklin and Sons and Fevertree and served ice cold, refreshing drink. We got to listen to some amazing music, fulfilling festival dreams seeing the likes of Foo fighters, Post Malone and Billie Eilish. Cannot wait to do it all again!
